On this earth it was Fitzgerald and not Bishop that came back in time to prevent the rise of the sentinels. He approached the probelm from a different angle than Bishop and executed his Triple Nick theory. By murdering Nikolaus Otto, Nikola Tesla, and Nicolas Leonard than Fitzgerald believed that technology would not rise to a high enough level for Sentinels to every be build.

Without the arrival of the combustion engine the steam engine continued to develop. Anthony Stark, Son of Railroad Titan Howard Stark, makes enormous headway into steam engines by combining them with a 'solarised vacuum' magnetix. He is kidnapped by Nathan Essex and held in an abandoned train yard. Here he is forced to construct a Solarized Generator and instead builds an iron suit from the train parts.

Ironman is painted in inks. His Steam Cannon is a cut down fusilage from a goblin glider. The Minigun is harvested from an Iron Monger. His should cannon and steam tank are scratch built.
