Armor Daredevil (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:1886
Name:Armor Daredevil
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Bob-A-Ferret
Date Added:February 28, 2007
Base Figure:Spiderman Classic Daredevil
Height:6.00 inches
Started in 2003, finished in 2004, this figure was extremely difficult for me as a newby. This figure has lost NONE of the points of articulation, nor any range of motion. The armor did it's best to prevent this, being next to every joint. The armor is actually made of pen grips from Uniball, though the particular texture may no longer be available. The paint job was no easy task, as the diamonds and sharp corners in red are at inconvenient locations on the body. It took several attempts to get the paint just right, but I am overall ecstatic with the final product.

Was curious, do you sell any of your customs? You could probably do pretty good for yourself if you did

I like him black, it contrasts really well with the red and armor. Maybe give him a silver wash for an easier metallic paintjob?

Thanks again I thought so too. Until someone mentioned I should redux the black with a dark grey or a gunmetal in my PM. I thought about it discussed it with my wife and Mike my partner in customs and buisness. Now I am planning on repainting him in a gunmetal. What do you think???
I'm a fan of the solid black but id be interested to see what it looks like in gunmetal

Yeah....yeah....it's a skull
I didn't get a clear view of his chest in the comic, that's a nifty symbol.

It's not a skull but they only used one of the 4 pics I submitted it has 3 triangular pieces point down the torso and the top is reminisate of a jersey devil silhoutte. I made this as exact as I could I used every pic I could get my hands on to get every piece of the costume as perfect as I could. (resulting in me now having a daredevil collection that I would have otherwise never owned, but which my wife is more than glad I have as her new favorite heroine is Elektra.) The only liberty I took was makinging it black I would probably do it in gunmetal if I where to do it again.

Hah, I saw this guy in my Punisher comics and wondered who he was. That's a great suit! Why does he have a skullish-thing on his chest? @_@

Thanks I loved this costume too. But let me tell you the armors a pain being they are all over joints keeping the articulation was a real nightmare.
But that said DD would have lost real articulation as it would prevent a lot of movement. But cool none the less. got to love the Intimidation factor it would have given.

Wow! I thought I was like the only person who liked that costume. The red 1 is cool, the yellow and blk a classic, but this one came while everyone was being changed in the 90's but I thought it looked sweet. Now that I'm older If I'd designed the costume, I wouldn't give him shoulder pads( too 90's and might restrict movement)Great Job and I like the liberties u took on parts of the costume.
