The year is 20XX and civilization has just rebuilt itself from the ashes of World War 3. This is now a world of vast technology progression, a neon colored paradise working under domes for the benefit of all mankind, but nothing could be farther from the truth as the underworld and powerbrokers pull the strings of the hardworking citizens through fear and intimidation. With cyborg thugs, living computer viruses, powerful psychics, ninja mercenaries, crooked police, power mad AI and dead zone mutates, at their disposal, it is now more than ever that the world has a need for true heroes, heroes that represent this unknown future age, the age of the cyber punk.

This ain’t your father’s Superman, heck it isn’t even your Superman. #77 was born in a test tube in the 77th attempt to control the 90% of the brain that humanity has yet to unlock as part of a government program whose research specializes in psychic warfare. At ten years old #77 deemed a failure by the project managers and was due to be terminated and harvested for parts, but two of the scientist named Jonathan and Martha took pity on #77 seeing how in a way they raised him for the last ten years, they risked everything and snuck him out of the facility. Tricking the government agency into believing they had terminated #77, the agency accumulating failure after failure was closed down due to budget cuts. Jonathan and Martha moved #77 to the outskirts of the Kansas dome where they lived as a family until the day at the age of 14 that #77 came into his psychic power. A power so great that Jonathan and Martha were at a loss of what to do, so they took #77 back to the government that they stole him from for help even if it meant their “son” would be a guinea pig. Happy that their faith and funding in the psychic research weren’t wasted the government chose not to execute the couple for stealing their property and the secrets that lay within it. With a well-funded laboratory, it didn’t take Jonathan and Martha long to realize that years under the solar energy from the dome’s filters jumpstarted an irreversible process in #77 as the energy was stored in his body’s cells manifested itself through his mind as psychic powers such as telekinesis, pyrokinesis, and telepathic abilities. These abilities in the unchecked power level that they were being released were burning out his cells faster than they could be replenished. The pain #77 was going through was more than Jonathan and Martha could take, they knew it was a matter of time before #77 would burn out. The government not wanting to lose such a strong weapon encased #77 in a titanium lead mesh armor that would teach #77 to focus his power as well as gain the armor’s own regenerative properties on #77’s body. With his power under control #77 thought this was his happy ending, but that was not to be as the government who made and paid for him started to train him as a solider. Afraid of what he might become Jonathan and Martha tried to install ethics into #77 by telling what was right and what was wrong. #77 favorite lessons were when Jonathan would tell him stories from before World War 3 in some magazines called comic books that Jonathan read as a child about a hero called Superman and how he always did what was right even though he was extremely powerful, he was also incredibly gentle like #77. The government found out it was Jonathan and Martha who were undermining #77’s conditioning and had them sentenced to execution. The heads of the government wanted the execution to be carried out by #77. At the execution #77 refused to kill his “parents” and the head officer at the proceedings just pulled out his pistol and gunned them both down right in front of #77 before he could react to save them. After the realization of what had just been done #77 let out a powerful psychic wave knocking the officer against the wall crippling him, #77 then took his “parents” bodies and left the government installation. #77 buried Jonathan and Martha at their home in the Kansas dome. Alone from then on #77 practiced in the use of his powers while trying to stay one step ahead of the government who created him and want him back. Any one who would seek #77 as an enemy was in quite a problem as to attack him with his armor was to battle a mechanical juggernaut with great psychic powers or destroy his armor and defend yourself against the full might of his insanely powerful psychic powers. #77 goes from dome to dome helping people with the lessons taught to him by his “parents” leaving the name of #77 behind him, he forges a new legend in the name of his most cherished memory, Superman the psychic of steel

Cyber punk Superman was made from a movie Iron Man Iron Monger lower body & arms, TB Spiderman Beetle chest, Mcfarland anime Tetsuo head & cape, and odds & ends parts.

Superman is trademark of DC Comics, but the Cyber Punk origin and design were created by my namesake for this Figure Realm “Cyber Punk” contest.
