Impulse (DC Direct) Custom Action Figure
Custom #: | 1939 | Name: | Impulse | Custom Type: | Action Figure | Toy Series: | DC Direct | Creator: | Bob-A-Ferret | Date Added: | March 3, 2007 | Base Figure: | DC Direct Teen Titan Kid Flash and DC Direct Impulse | Height: | 5.75 inches |
Made in 2005. The mask, hands, and feet are from a DC Direct Impulse, and the rest is a Kid Flash. The reason for this is the original Impulse was taller than Kid Flash. This represented the art of Mr Ramos perfectly, but I prefer the more traditional look of the Teen Titan Kid Flash and swapped the parts. Also, the leg was broken on Impulse, because DC Direct made a shoddy figure. Supprise, supprise. This figure turned out extremely nice. (Impulse is on the left ;) Please wait... |

I can't see it in the pics either so no way I can judge you like I said it is not the best pic. And I agree he looks gutted and extremely glossy and as I have told several people we need a photo tutorial on this site for numb nuts like me.
I share your colorblindness, brother

lol@ the group photo of them holding hands - they feel "fabulous"
LOL
this is cool tho the only small crit like the guys have said -
is that the paints a bit on the glossy side on impulse and looks like hes been "gutted" deer style
All in all - Excellent work tho on "the fastest longpig alive"

The red you used for the front of his costume though... it looks like a fountain of blood flowing down his body. The color's right on but the extreme glossiness makes it look liquid.

great work
