DC Direct Teen Titan Kid Flash and DC Direct Impulse
Height:
5.75 inches
Made in 2005. The mask, hands, and feet are from a DC Direct Impulse, and the rest is a Kid Flash. The reason for this is the original Impulse was taller than Kid Flash. This represented the art of Mr Ramos perfectly, but I prefer the more traditional look of the Teen Titan Kid Flash and swapped the parts. Also, the leg was broken on Impulse, because DC Direct made a shoddy figure. Supprise, supprise. This figure turned out extremely nice.
I am very in terested in buying ur custom impulse action figure if ur are interested in selling it to me please contact me at my email davidfletch@insightbb
This one does not exist anymore I used parts of him to make the 2.0 version then I used what was left and some fodder parts to make a toy for some kids in the apartment next door.
Oh, I can't see the difference between shades of color so I had no clue. I burned the corneas off my eyes with an Ultra violet light in High School (be nice Doc! It wasn't on purpose - lol!), and my cones were damaged so I have color "issues". If it makes you feel any better, ALL red looks like blood red to me, all Green looks like Kelly Green, all Yellow looks Like ugh you get the point. I can however see all the Grey scale perfectly though so I really dig the B&W stuff. I can't see it in the pics either so no way I can judge you like I said it is not the best pic. And I agree he looks gutted and extremely glossy and as I have told several people we need a photo tutorial on this site for numb nuts like me.

Dudes you can't insult me I am a blacksmythe skin as thick and hard as the knives and swords I make. I can see your point and from the pic I concur. However it is the camera or flash as in real life not so glossy as Grey monk deduced. But thanks I appreciate the compliments and critiques from you and from everyone else who has looked at this or any of my work. It makes me a better customizer each time as I review it and see what needs to be improved. It is one of my favorite customs thus far and I am happy to say I honestly am as happy with it now as I was when I made it unlike many of mine that I constantly want to upgrade. Oh and as far as it looking like blood there is actually 2 reds the pinstriped lightning red and the darker blood red I wish it could be seen more clearly but the camera I had at the time didn't do a very good job I may take new pics with my new camera and see if that makes it look better to you all. And Kern I like your sense of humor. And everybody please keep with the compliments and critiques I love them They make me better and I am willing to listen and learn so feel free to be harsh on me. Thanks Bob-A-Ferret
great work man lol@ the group photo of them holding hands - they feel "fabulous" LOL this is cool tho the only small crit like the guys have said - is that the paints a bit on the glossy side on impulse and looks like hes been "gutted" deer style All in all - Excellent work tho on "the fastest longpig alive" ~_@ Dedi
I agree with punstarr, great figure and from the picture it either looks like rasberry jam or blood flowing down the front. I doubt it looks like that in person though, darn photography! I just thought it was my color blindness at first, until Punstarr said something.
I love how you did the goggles on this figure, looks sharp. The red you used for the front of his costume though... it looks like a fountain of blood flowing down his body. The color's right on but the extreme glossiness makes it look liquid. Disclaimer: I mean no insult when I critique, so please don't take offense. I feel it's important to be honest and help other artists to grow in their craft. I'd expect the same honestly on my customs.
