everybody's favorite galadorian ROM the Spaceknight. this figure took several hours to complete. I worked on it over a period of 2 weeks. I may attempt another one when I get my apoxie sculpt and some proper crafting tools.
Freddie my man - you improved on the comicbook version in my opinion bud - I love the backpack I remember my brother having the 14" electronic toy of this as a Kid (rocket pack, heavy breathing and neutralyser/analyser/translator noises), and the thing getting busted and me changing it into Nemesis the Warlock from 2000AD My god that was a cool toy looking back - were wasteful kids awesome work on this bud - especially on the accessories like the neutraliser you gotta make a dire wraith now man for Rom to torch I love this figure - excellent work Pal ~_@ Dedi
thanks fellas....but variable penguin did a ROM that looks a lot better than this one...his is very comic accurate...if you like ROM, you should check his out. but anyways, thanks for the great comments, I do appreciate them. can't believe you still have that ROM figure by mattel, thor..that's awesome, I always wanted one, my best friend had one though...
Thank you for you comments on my figures, coming from someone who has some of the best customs in this site is very helpfull and appreciated. Your figures are great the paint jobs and themes are very challenging and original. Thanks again.
Rom...I only read a few of his comic books. I didn't hate him by no means. his was a noble cause...lol! yeah, I forgot to mention the backpack rocket booster deal...I had bought a wahl battery operated trimmer and I used the large trimming accessory for the backpack. I was like what in the hell am I gonna do with this thing...and ROM's backpack came to mind. which, it isn't very comic accurate..but I figured what the hell, you know...only diehards are gonna bust me out on that. if I do another one, it will be more accurate. all my customs up to this point , I have not had any proper sculpting tools or sculpting apoxie. but....that problem will soon be corrected.
I hate Rom, he was lacking to me. The back-pack/piece is a tad on the large side. But that said best Rom the spaceknight ever. now if Marvel could write a story worthy of your figure, and turn me over to the rom side
