Ok I really took my time with T-Bird. I didn't realise the amount of detail required with his costume but I'm happy withth eoutcome. I snagged a T-Hwk figure but realised that size wise he was way too big to be the original Thunderbird who was always depicted as being around Colossus' height. So I swapped the head with the XMC Sabretooth figure and swapped out the hands with a couple of the S-F Guile fists. I recycled the trim from T-Hawk for his boots and shoulders and sculpted the belt and cuffs. Although the leg straps weren't part of the original costume I kept them in to break up the legs. A feather adjust and full repaint later and I've rounded out my Giant Sized X-Men team!
Lol - Fringe it is then. I must just be going off select pictures but I still prefer this scale if only to make Colossus look more... um... colossal? I know Warpath was shown as huge during his time with X-Force but as an X-Man is just a lil Bulky. Unless it's just artistic impression. I just hope they release the first appearence Strom in HML4 to finish my team!
I disagree with you on the THawk Scale problem you have. According to all of Marvels bios on Thuderbird he is taller than Collosus at that time and if he was alive they would now be the same height as collosus has grown6 inches since he was introduced. However that said kick bum job I like a lot. I would never have thought of that combo. Also great work on the tasseles or fringe or whatever you want to call them. You did an excellent job here.
