In my regular RPG group I have twisted and tweaked several of the existing Marvel characters into something I would find playable and fresh. To that end I have created a campaign based around Captain America getting wounded (shades of my RPG world affecting the comics, huh?) and becoming Deathlok, a mercenary seeking The Shelter. Easy boil and pop and repaint on both Deathlok and Captain America, the tubes into his chest represent the cybernetics keeping his lungs functioning. Modified Deathlok's original gun, gave him Cap's shield and done. Hope you enjoy. ![]() |

Like everyone else here, I assume, I keep tupperware tubs full of parts, accessories, misc stuff I may need later on for something and thats where the other tubing came from.
Pouches and holsters I make from leather that used to belong to an old coat I wore out and just tore into strips and use in my customs.....simple stuff ya know.
what did you all use?
Is that what you meant?
My only critique, I would have used the surgical tubing that you added for the whole run of the "lung tubes" instead of splicing into the silver bits that actually go into his chest.
Really cool concept though, and I love to see people's RPG characters made onto figs!
Thanks for the suggestion, I am going to work on that later on today, maybe....kids willing.
The only thing I would change is the shields coloring. Maybe change the blue to black to go with the costume. A wicked looking figure though(simple is always best), he gets 5 outta 5 from me
Is it just me or does taking pictures of your customs always point out the flaws you never noticed before?
Looking at my pix I always seem to notice things I should have taken care of before then get mad at myself for not noticing it and can't do a thing about it after I have already submitted it....rambling, will stop now.
The diorama behind it is something I built using backgrounds I found on a website for the JLU animated series and toys, I will get you the site address if you want and show off the diorama itself if you want...you know, for making something to take pictures of toys in front of.
Thanks for the comments.
