Bui is a member of toguro team (villains) at the dark tournament saga of yu yu hakusho anime. He has this huge axe and a... Uhmm.. He has a huge axe! And he's powerful!!! Haha! And no, he's not the long lost brother of shredder from tmnt... I really like the character but no figure of him was made, so there, I made one! :) Bui of toguro team in his articulated glory! ML style! -Removed magneto's cape, sculpted the armor pieces and head gear. Covered the shoulder joints with dome shaped plastic pieces before sculpting the armor so that articulation won't be hampered and joint would still be movable on the shoulder area. Used rubber parts from lotr figs to replicate cloth like parts of bui's armor/costume. Spikes were form plastic toothpicks. Built the giant axe from scratch, used small plastic medicine bottle, protractor(round ruler), paint brush handle, screwed in a small chain and put x-23's toe spike at the end of the chain and then covered it with plumber's putty and painted with acrylics...  |

@asch -thank you so much sir! yeah, that's what I was thinking too, most people won't recognize him, and in a contest like this, put him face to face with a marvel character and this custom will surely eat dust. haha! kidding aside, I was really happy that this custom landed an "ok" score and some people recognized who he was and even left a comment that they really like the fig. (conundrum and his girlfriend, gigantophitecus, rpetras, claudia 84, redmist, G brand and those who've voted) that was more than enough to make me happy. thanks guys!
I'll be doing more yu yu hakusho characters. karasu (another member of the toguro team) is on the table right now, as well as the green suit wearing yusuke and the devil yusuke. I just have to finish sculpting devil yusuke's hair. thanks again guys!
