Again sorry for the webcam pics - I know theyre crappy - Hope the quality shines thru tho
I'm trying to work out my new Digicam and I aint the most technologically minded person

This is my avvy character and my screen name DEADEYE SAMURAI

I'm currently writing/drawing his comic book origins with other artists. just now and god willing I'd be able to let you guys see it on here some day...

Hes a mishmash in design of Kenshi, Rai, Bloodstone, daredevil and Sunfire for their powers
He can form energy weaponry from an ancient sun kami warrior that possesses him
Usually he wields double red sunlight energy katanas

The comic hes based on I'm going to Post over in the Comics section - Please go over and take a look

- I used real cloth for his undergarments
- Parts of LOTR figures Armour for his Arms n Legs
-Starwars Transformers Vader/Tie Fightr Lightsabers for his energy blades
- A Ms Marvel belt sash for his bandana
- My kids costume jewellry for his head and body gems
- And (I Think) An old X-changers Vambrace for his Shoulder armour

Base figure is a mix of

-LOTR Gil Galead (sp?) for the head (filed down and miliputted)
- Ninja Wolverine upper torso
- Bird of Prey Angel legs and hands

A better improved version is coming

Yo, Deadeye, that's awesome man! I give u props for creating an original character, I've created some characters of my own but I never follow thru w/completing it in plastic. Like u, I've a character w/me namesake. The thing is I'll do 1000 DC or GIJoe customs because I guess, I've a clear blueprint of what to do. I hate that I do this but you've inspired me to do my own dudes. BTW, u have hella skillz considering yer condition. Great Job D.E!

Thanks Maelstrom - I'm a very big fan of your customs mate - thanks for the props
I'm half blind unfortunately - so my pic taking isnt great due to depth perception probs and light sensitivity issues
I'm trying to get good pics done mate but its a pretty hit n miss affair - I made some contacts locally with some digital photographers on the business course I'm on
so hopefully I can hook up with them
failing that its my brother or the kids taking the pics...
I'll keep trying
I'm gonna finish and submit Deadeye Samurai MkII soon
stay tuned

This looks really cool, although I would sure like to see some clearer pics! If these pictures were in a green tint, it would look like a view through night vision goggles (which would be a very cool effect).

LOL Gee Jay - seeing your customs - I'd be deeply honored if you did do a custom of my stuff
But yeah my character is copyrighted up the ying yang between me and group of 20 artists who've done work on my book
We have the original designs - So we see deadeye samurai stuff that we aint done or get a cut off getting sold on the net or not even had a mention it was our creation - LOL - then we are quite right to sue
But I honestly would love to see what you can do with a deadeye samurai custom
Doc says he might be going to take crack at it too
Read the origins 7pager in Comics Corner Section - lemme know what you think
Maybe you guys can do customs to help me block out the actual comicstrip?

Thanks man
I recommend an Xacto knife with multi blade types, pins, needles of differnt sizes, cocktail sticks (one end of which is flattened) - Dental tools if you can get them
A dremel hand tool with multiple heads for sanding, cutting, drilling
And of course - A vice to grip it so you don't cut up your fingers
I use colored clay called Fimo - its like sculpey - I also use Milliput (an apoxy putty)
I hardly paint - but what I do use when I do - is acrylic paints
hope thats been some help

Lol thanks my fellow canadian - Yeah I'm ex-pat living in Scotland
Zatoichi is what he was kinda based on - Love the Zatoichi films - and you know...thats not a bad idea
The story for deadeye samurai is set across three time zones
Prehistory and the creation of the first dedisam - called The Akaitaiyou KenMaru
The Edo Japan Period
2025 Cyberpunk Japan - where Japan and Chinas the two great world powers
the comic origins for the this character is in the COMIC CORNER section
Exhibit A
I'm already making differnt versions of his costume above as well as the other deadeye samurai types across history
like these below

very nice man, would love to see some more visable pics, but from what I see it looks awsome. I love how this is all an original character, I used to make characters all the time, mabey ill start makin originals, but yours sounds really cool. Kenshi was one of my favs from the new mortal kombat. You should make a story and have him fighting a Blind Swordsman Zaitochi kinda dude, blind vs blind, gold man!!

Thanks very much Bob-a

hahaha - yeah
I 'watched' a lot of TV when I was blind LMAO - I just heard the voices and fx - Radio was never dead with me - my brother filled in the details
But I rewatched them later on when I got my peepers fixed - just hated the screechy voiced twiki
Thats what was so cool about original gangsta twiki
LOL he was Yay high and had the deepest of voices - loved him immediately

Yeah sorry Bob-a LOL - I'm just really new at this sort of thing (PCs) and wasn't sure if I did things right hahaha
Oh man give me a Speak n Spell anyday Hahaha - those I understood
Until the batteries wore out and it sounded like Barry White
Don't worry I did the same thing like 3 times before I figured it out.
I thought they sounded like twiky from buck rodgers beedbeedbeep
LOL - maybe cos my brother dunked it in the tubb
Man Twiki was the best - Voiced by the Bugs Bunny guy - Mel Blanc
Actually went off watching a lot of Buck Rogers after Twikis voiced changed to that screech
Just wasn't the same

Yeah I really like the cloth Jedi clothes I made and I intend to keep them for a Luke 6inch custom I got planned - but they weren't stretching too well with some poses like high kicks
So I'm stripping/swapping it back to the Ninja Wolverine legs and body with some extra judicious armour additions at its sides using drinking straw ribbing
Deadeye samurai (Dedisam for brevity) goes thru many differnt types of armor in the story - as his powers build and they start to come apart with the heat he builds up
So his bodysuit underneaths going to be kinda DUNE "stillsuit" like capable of withstanding great heat but cooling down the armour
we'll see how it pans out

Lol Thanks a lot guys for the positive chi and comments - yeah that darn webcam needs chucked and I need to get this samsung digicam up n runnin...
The Mark two version of this deadeye samurai will be improved...its being made now with the same armour but a different undersuit - I'll be making a flightstand and such for those funky flying kicks
And this time I'll maybe crack the moving jaw conundrum on the figures face and get a more resilent wire
I'm thinking of doing 4 different versions untili I finally manage to make a light up version
