thanks Greymonk, took me over 2 days to make and I was happy to be done with it.
After that one the only other one I repainted was a spider-man 1 movie figure, repainted is webs silver instead of black/dark silver.

Wow that's outstanding! I hate working in that Spidey 3 movie scale, I did like one zombie spiderman from it - it was a fiasco. My hats off to you for the patience you exhibit making such a detailled piece from that scale. Bravo!

You could do this or get the limitd edition venom which is IMPOSSIBLE to find .

Thats insane dude, toothpicks. Thats dedication. I think thats what venom is gonna look like in the film, more alien than a spiderman on steroids and fangs. I'm really excited for this flick and am anticipating your spidey repaint. keep it up man

Thanks guy, I am so glad to see that everyone likes me re-paint of this once lame purple Venom.
And I'm with you guys about this figure being way too small, darn you Hasbro, cutting down on size to make more money...
geki69er, for the webs I used over 100 toothpicks to paint then individually, the same for is upper and lower lips, I re-painted them red instead of purple. the rest of the figure is all hand painted with bruches.
and I don't know if you guys noticed but I layed down a thin layer of silver to make is muscles show up more, and to add some shadows .
Anyway thanks guys for the comments and I might do a spider-man 3 black suit spidey next (with the real black suit colors)

thats really cool man. I also think that hasbro kinda dropped the ball with that line of toys. I think its cool that they had a bunch of villians that don't appear in the movie and they gave them a movie feel. but ya, purple venom, no dice. Your repaint looks really good man. how do you do the webs on his body?
