Hello, Watched the JLA Crisis on two Earths and Batman under the Red Hood and was floored. I'm making several figures from these animated movies. First is Ultraman, the goomba version of Superman. Took the Hush Supes, gutted the crappy cape, and sculpted the "U" for Ultraman and his upper armored shoulders. Took strips from Mr. Sinister's cape (a highly versatile customizing tool!) and made the leg braces. They worked okay but I decided to sculpt the wrist braces. His belt was sculpted and then little round disks were cut from some random PVC and added on. His hair has been sculpted for thickness. I painted several tones in the face and hands and two tones in the blue costume. Lastly, I added a MONSTROUS sized cape for effect and BAM! One bad-a$$ evil Supes that WON'T sleep with the fishes! Owlman is almost done as well. ENJOY: Comments/critiques welcome as always! -Fitz ![]() |

However, as an Italian-American, I have to say that "Goomba Superman" isn't appreciated. The word "goomba" is just a made up word that intolerant, racist, anti-imigrant people made up to replace "guinea" and "dago" when political correctness made it inappropriate to use those words in polite company. And, therefore, it's just as offensive as those other racial slurs.
But, having seen that movie, I know the characteristics you're trying to reference when you say "goomba". Perhaps "Mob Boss Superman" would hit the mark?
