This is a project that my 9 year old son and I did together. We put AOA SabreTooth's thighs on to give the Dragon bigger legs. Then used 4 different shades of green, painted the eyes, repainted the pants. And now my son is proud of his first custom, with some help from Dad... We think he looks great, what do you all think?
WOW! Cool Savage Dragon Custom! Even though the original one was based on the comic artwork I always thought he would look better with bigger legs. Your custom definitely looks better that the original! And the shades of green and paint apps are flawless. Great father & son custom!!
My son is 10 and did his first real custom when he was 9, too. I wish I'd thought to take pictures of it before he played with it for 8 weeks non-stop until he scratched nearly every drop of paint back off of it! But this Savage Dragon is phenomenal! Erik Larsen wishes he could make him look that good! Great work! Let your son know that he has fans of his work!
This is tons of times better than the factory job! Great stuff! The jean's denim effect work out fantastically, and the skin tones are worked out really well too!
Lucky Lanshark, your kids got mad talent. I can't wait for my boy to start customizing. He's 2 yrs., but soon. Maybe your boy and my will be the future of customizing. Lanshark2, and Goliath_CustomsJr. (LOL!).
