My brother recently found a couple of sketches of Alex Ross 1st version of Bucky's Cap outfit. For the most part it has the same basis, but as you can see in the 3rd shot is still a striking difference. I used a Dr. Manhattan figure as he was the most basic with the correct build as my base. Built the chest piece, not as smooth as I would like but I can live with it. Had to build the "A" with the wings in 3D, as this is one of the more unique features of this outfit. There was no sketch of the back of his outfit, so I just threw the Shield on his back. Tell what do you think of this version of the Bucky Cap outfit.
The figure looks great, but I am glad they used the other design in the comics. The winged "A" reminds me too much of that awful Liefeld version of cap from the 90's. Other than that , cool design and great looking custom!
