This is my third Batman animated version attempt, and I do think its the best one yet. My first attempt at robin. I used two dc universe figures (blue devil and another), and after dremeling down certain parts I smoothed over grooves with apoxie sculpt. Cut a little out of the legs and arms that would be the robin figure so he would be a little shorter than batman.I sanded, then painted with model master and tamiya paints. I must say, there is nothing better than customizing. I absoultely love, taking one figure and transforming it into a figure you have always visualized seeing, and I am quite happy with the result. Too bad these ones where commissions. :(
Thanks guys! Um, unfortunately, those are the best pics I got since I'm not at home and don't have the right lighting. :/. To make the logo, I saved one from google images, then shrunk it down like 10 or 7 percent in paint shop, then printed out, crazy glued it to the back of a pleather piece then glued it on and applied a clear acrylic on it to give the paper some durabilaty when it drys. Did the same with robins logo.
You've totally captured my childhood in these customs. That batman is great, and that robin is amazing. Can't wait to see the rest of the animated cast!
