Hey, Realmers, Sentinel here with a few repaints of customs so that they fit into the exhibition line of figures I'm working on... FODDERBOTS!
Some quick info. The Fodderbot line is sort of a mix between a sculpture exhibition and an action figure line. Its purpose is primarily artistic- they don’t belong to a universe or have enemies of a backstory or anything. They represent humanity and explore Uncanny Valley through the use of broken toy parts and fodder. They discover, each in their own way, both the simplicity ad complexity of what constitutes ‘human’. The color scheme (Stone Gray, Bronze, and Iron Gray) is a further harkening to Humanity, invoking the three-age scheme of human civilization presented by Anthropologist Christian Thomson.
Alright, enough snooty-sounding explanation, on to why you’re here! THE FIGURES!

I started with these guys because you’ve already seen them… kinda. I repainted and reconstructed them all after they fell apart in shipping, added some stuff, blah blah blah.

Lumens: Human reliance on their Hands and Light.
First Photo. I think the vast majority of fodder used in Lumens (old name Lumen) was MacFarlane, but I can’t even remember the figures anymore. I’m pretty sure one was a warthog and one was some other animal. The head is part of a Gameboy Snake Light. I think I used parts of a Matrix Sentinel for the tail and some joints. The rest is various fodder. Sprayed, detailed, and done.

Sentus: Humanity through the Tool of War
Second Photo. Just a repaint of my previous custom, Merge Sentinel JMB-001. The Merge Sentinel never had a base figure either and looked great with the others, so I repainted him, tweaked the joints for strengths with Apoxy Sculpt, and here he is. Joints and Joint Bases are from a Bone Jack Xevoz figure. Head is from a Game Boy Light of some kind that I found at a Yard Sale. Dunno about the rest.

Levethan: Humanity, Deformed and Violent
Big dude in the back in the last photo. I already posted him so you can check out his personal info under his old name, Leviathan.

Feedback, both Action-figuratively and artistically inclined, appreciated heartily. Of course I expect there won’t be so many on this post since everything in this post had another post related directly to it and the changes were minor… I really just wanted to start showing the project as a whole. Which you can also comment on.

There are two more of these coming in the next day or two, so if you like these things, more to come! ^_^

PS, I gotta get a better camera and a nice clean background for photos... sorry in advance that I don't.

I like this series of customs you've been doing, but I think I love the creativity behind them the most!

Thanks, Diego! They all have color, but, eh... camera issues. >_< I'll edit this post's pictures up when I can get a camera that actually has a good enough contrast function to show off the tricolor scheme. Until then, I'm glad you enjoy them in their current state. ^_^
