This is Matt Murdock re-imagined in the what if story of what would happen if he was born in America, but had his accident which made him blind in Japan during WWII. His father was killed by the the Kingpin in Japan.He grew up with revenge in his heart for what happened. The Kingpin is now a diplomat there working toward peace, while the Great White Devil is the ultimate predator using his giant hourglass and stars and striped costume to strike fear into the people of another nation while representing the USA.
I did make the name to be funny. I was inspired after reading Superman Red Son, and thought it would be a great idea to do something similar with a Marvel Character. I saw all of the incarnations of Daredevil and thought it would be fun to do him in white. I understand how other countries view America, and I wanted to make him into a anti-hero. The White Devil part came when I was reading a book about Hiroshima.
