Roberto da Costa is a mutant from Brazil. He joined the New Mutants at a young age, and has been affiliated with many other teams since then, including X-Force and the Hellfire Club.
I bought Ultimate Nightcrawler with the intention of turning it into Sunspot a LONG time ago, but couldn't get past the planning stages. I recently found the inspiration to do it. The arms are from Bullseye, and the feet from Wolverine. The chest 'X' emblem is from a Wolverine accessory. Parts of the costume were made from Omega Red's harness and and Bullseye's belt. The kneepads are from Goliath's belt. I did a lot of work on the head, replacing the ears, and adding the upper teeth. The 'sunspots' around the head were made from ball-headed pins, along with a ball-on-nylon-wire contraption I stumbled across at a stationary store.
