The Silver Surfer had always been the favorite herald of Galactus. It's no surprise that the other hearlds, like Terrax, would want to destroy him out of jealousy. In his evil plot to gain the sole admiration of Galactus, Terrax attempted to murder The Surfer by sending him into a Gysoro Vortex, to which there'd be no return. Basically, the Vortex was similar to Black Holes whereby it would devour light, space and time. And Terrax was certain that The Surfer would not escape its grasp. But just before the Vortex closed, someone or something riding a surfboard came out - and it was hungry for flesh.
Made Terrax from a Toybiz Super Skrull, resculpted the details. More sculpt work done on the MU Surfer, making the exposed ribcage, skull/bone neck and legs. The board was painted with a combination of Vallejo and enamel paints.
