Well I couldn't just make a Black Panther from the Marvel zombies that had a missing arm and leg. I also had to make this version. It's five years after the Zombie universe portal has closed and the humans hiding on asteroid "M" have come back down to earth to see what's going on. T'Challa (Black Panther) has been given a Robotic Arm and Leg made by Forge and the rest of the humans on the asteroid. T'Challa and Lisa have "hooked up" yielding the infant K'shamba.

I made the infant from Sculpey and baked it and painted it. That was my first time sculpting a baby. I have no idea if the child is supposed to be male or female, that information was not necessary to sculpt it. The infant can be removed at will.

I modified the Glove and good leg to more closely match the boots and glove cuff as illustrated in the comic. I used apoxie for that. There's no such thing as a Black Panther unmasked head, so I sculpted one for him with apoxie sculpt. To show the detail I have included one pic of the face during the build the eyes aren't painted on it yet and that makes an obvious difference too.

I was going to use the robotic arm from another figure, but I felt really guilty about copping out, and my good friend the Wraith (Marvelzombies26 on here) talked me into not being lazy and actually sculpting the robotic arm. I am so glad he did, I think it looks very close to the comic depiction and believe it or not, all of the points of articulation (including the forearm swivel and the individual fingers) still function.

This figure is rather pure in that no parts from another figure were used in it's creation, and the head and infant are original sculptures. I never removed the arm or leg to sculpt them.

I am working on the finishing touch which is the base. I like to do bases for my figures and so I will make a base with a jungle lanscape to go with the comic depiction of this piece.
