I went out and bought a hawkeye to make a dark hawkeye, and realized that was a terrible waste of a great figure. I sculpted all the detail from greenstuff. to do all the scale like armor I used a guitar pick to sculpt. I used a harder epoxy for the points on the mask. (just a lot easier when it sets in minutes not hours) the belt if greenstuff, the loincloth is from mystique with detail sculpted from greenstuff (using a robinson screwdriver for the square hole detail. I sculpted the boot flares (including "stitch" look) The bow is from 25th anniversary friday 13th boxset heavily modified to match that of dark hawkeye. Arrows made from coat hangers, tips and feather are sculpey. Arrow bag from ML taskmaster. rub free joints, super durable paint. citadel dullcote. hope you guys like it. I think the dark avengers were a killer idea, I should be making more very soon. I have also made a mold of the head, if anyone is lazy and wants a one off head.
Wow I can't believe that was taskmaster. Your red skull gave me hope about that with just 1 base figure. I am very glad that you are looking forward to Daken! But don't expect any masterpiece
Badass deadpool. But don't much understand about hands. Anyway I know thats better change some parts with other figures but in my country thats bad about action figures. So I want to know is that bad of making from only 1 figure how I sad?
@ bartoski, I think that sounds like a good plan, shouldn't require too much sanding. the only problem I see you encountering would be the hands. they just bend @ the first knuckle, like prof X. ML angels hands would work, they are similar to yellow n brown wolverine, however instead of having a 360 degree wrist joint, angel has up down joint. however it still will rotate 360 degrees at the middle of the forearm. check out my deadpool classic, that was an angel figure head to toe. hope that helps.
Destroy Wolvie is good price for having Daken. But I am planning to buy a quicksilver because in my country where I live he is extremely easy to find. And totally resculpt and repaint him to do from him Daken in his new costume. Pls tell me what you think about this plan
Oh my GOD.. Thats Excellent.. In my opinion this figure looks like when hasbro and toybiz would works together and produce ML Dark Avengers. I wish you will understand - English´s not my native ;-)
