Wolverine Brown Suit (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:26420
Name:Wolverine Brown Suit
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:thor333us
Date Added:December 29, 2010
Base Figure:Wonderman Wolverine
Height:6.00 inches
Used astonishing wolverine head, anniversary wolv. arms and lower legs, dcuc hands for the no claw hands and wonderman torso and thighs with sculpting. This was my first time making muscles but I may have overdone it. I wanted him to be short and wide, what do you guys think? The chest was good but the shoulders may be too narrow and the hips too wide so when I messed with proprtions it may be throwing things off.

I know how to do one skin tone: model master light with a warm tone wash. Any other good colors to do a wash with?
It does looks better in person since my camera can't see any washes.
I shouldn't have sculpted the outer legs, that would have balanced it out.
I mix brown and red and have used that as a wash before. I really like how you sculpted the legs. I'm not very good at sculpting muscles.
I'll try that sometime. For the muscles I put a little putty on the highest part of the muscle and then rubbed water on it and spread it out to the edges of where the muscle line already were so it didn't take a lot of skill. Hold it up to a light so you see the silhouette helps too.

The color is fine, Wolverine isn't tan or pale, it depends, excellent way to acomplish a classic look of Wolverine, even better than Marvel select version. the mask hood style, awesome, kudos, congrats.

He looks great! I think the proportions are fine. The only criticism I have on the figure is that his skin tone looks to pale fore wolverine.
