Dr David Banner (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:2659
Name:Dr David Banner
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Shinobitron
Date Added:May 16, 2007
Base Figure:Wolverine
Height:6.25 inches
He wanted a before and after effect for a display he was putting together. I used a Wolverine body and head and just alter it with my dremel and Fix It. After giving him a new paint job and a plaid shirt I made a torn shirt and a Lab jacket to complete the effect.

Nice figures. What is the average cost? Do you sell them? If so, where at? Put it on eBay.

Thanks for being undersatnding Shin - I didn't want to sound like I was hating on this
Youre right about the Longshot....I tested it out myself
Think I might have a good fix for the arms tho- Movie Blackheart
Just some minor dremelling of the cuff detail and you got a good pair of long skinnyish arms
AndI definitely think the Loki face would be a good substitute banner head

Don't feel like a Naysayer, everyones has the right to their own opinion and in fact its welcome. I tried using a Longshot arms on him but they ended up being way to small. His hand actually only came doen slightly past top of his thigh.
Thanks everyone and thanks for your honest opininons

Shin - I love what you done with this man
Everything about this is brilliant....the shirt details the paint job on the jeans and hiking boots - your work on his hair...
everything is cool except...
Now please forgive me for this - I hate being a Naysayer - as I really am a fan of your work man - I'm in no way dissing your skill which I've been in awe of on several occassions
But the head's just not right....
Its the head and arms thats throwing this off for me slightly----
It reminds me too much of Roddy Piper from They live with a hairdye job - especially with the flannel shirt and jeans
Bill Bixbys head is actually slightly bigger than his body in proportional anatomy terms and has got quite a frail looking face with big hair
He had a really sad looking face and was a perfect Banner
Hmmm I'm wonderin if a slight resculpt of a ML Loki head (without horns and helm) would fix this?
maybe changing his browline and facial expression - fill in some scars on Lokis face and sort the lips on loki to a more wistful expression
Arms have to be kinda skinnyish too - Bixby wasn't a big guy - so maybe Longshots arms?
Apart from the face/head and arms - this is a pretty dam cool custom
