Here we go again guys. I got the itch. Here I've taken my Christopher Reeve Superman one step further. This time I took the same DCUC Superman body, sanded down the musculature and used the head from the New Krypton Superman figure as before, but this time I swapped out the lower legs from the Mattel Batman Series' Superman from the two pack. These have a sleeker boot look and they extend the height of the figure to 7" making him nearly 6" in scale height OVER other DCUC figures. This give his head more room to look natural size too. This figure is completely overhauled. The head is custom cast and painted as well as the emblem on the chest. This time I actually applied it before I primed the figure. It evens out the look of the whole figure being of one sheen. The hair has a blue undercoat for that shiny look and the cape as always is a pull through that is actually attached to the figure from inside the body. I plan to do an Evil Superman real soon…. Anybody want to beat me to it? ![]() |

Amazing work all around with this figure. I really like the sleek overall look.
I tried this technique and my capes didn't look nearly as good as yours.
