Ben Hammil is a student at Xavier's. Though he has survived all the trials and tribulations that come with being a mutant, he has yet to join the X-Men.
When I decided to make this character, I knew I had to go with the Ares Wave ML Human Torch. For the head, though, I went with the FF Human Torch, as Match doesn't have hair, per se, just flames atop his head. I also liked that the colours between the figures were slightly different. This way, while his head is on fire, his arms are just glowing from the heat. For the costume details, instead of my usual label tape, I used red plastic hair ties. Hey, I was determined to do as little painting as possible!:)
