Kid is using his Stealth Tech suit as seen in the current Young Justice animated series. The figure has been painted with Testors Model Masters paint as well as Tamiya paints to avoid rubbing off. All the joints are stiff and still functional. The shoulders have been reduced to avoid the shoulder ball joints and muscles from scratching against the chest and back pieces and the head has been resculpted to feature the hair look from the show and the custom goggles Kid wears in the series. the figure has several layers of paint and details in different mediums such as ink, paint, foam applications and sculpting. ![]() |

made with "attention to detail" and some cool things are being taken into consideration. For instance, Only Aqualad, Kid Lfash and Ms. Martian have "stealthsuits. Robin's suit is not changed sicne he is suposed to be stealthy enough already and Superboy stated in the series that he will not wear capes or tights so he will pretty much be wearing his jeans and shirt combo. I mean, yeah we all know how merchandising works but the creators of the show are keeping in with some pretty cool logic behind the decisions on the show cuz if it was all up to merchandising, then all the characters would have two looks, it would just be simple as that. I would defend the Stealth armor on Kid the following way: #1 "Super speed" is downplayed a lot in animation. they can vibrate through stuff yes and do all sort of things but the running part, u know its not light speed. they are just way faster than other people... but not THAT fast #2the speedsters are not moving constantly at super speeds so u need something for when u are at regular pace. and #3 bright yellow in a covert mission? yikes lol Like it was stated by the "flash version" on Smallville... when they sleep (or go at regular speed) they are as vulnerable as anybody else.
Tooo bad you don't follow the show cuz its turning out to be quite good. the characters are being developed well and the animation is some of the best you will see in toons today so you might actually like it.
thnks for looking!
Oh right....and I forgot... Mattel does need to dish out more product..lol
