Fitz again,

So I've been really trying to get better at sculpting and picked a character that has allowed me to do that: Ame-Comi Batman. I saw this statue and all the detail and I thought: MAN! I GOTTA TRY THIS ONE! He looks super cool. So I did try it.

This guy might as well come from AVE'S Studios since he has so much of it on him. He has a sculpted cowel, armor plates on his arms, chest, thighs, lower legs, and feet. He has armored, detailed boots with knee gaurds, shin guards, buckles, zippers, and studs. His guantlets are sculpted with hese crazy spikes that the statue has, more menacing than the little flaps dangling in the regular suit. I sculpted his tricked out chest bat-emblem per the design and the tail is sculpted thinner and thinner to his groin. My X-acto enjoyed that a lot.

For his cape, I cut four separate pieces of cloth, two yellow and two black, and sealed them. The black cape sits over the yellow and spreads in the anime style, including two pieces that come forward over his shoulders to his chest. I took some Lord of the Rings Legolas straps of rubber from his gear and cut and painted them to be the belt straps that hang loose off the utility belt. Painted for effect.
