An original, but typical B-Movie monster scenario. Vat of experimental chemicals, careless scientist sneezes, add some lightning/radiation, and BANG! Booger Monster! Of course it's not evil, just misunderstood. And it invariably has feelings for the beautiful heroine our scientist likes too. It can't understand that I's body is composed of corrosive mucus that dissolves nearly instantly anything it touches (except inexplicably the floor). And ofcourse they come up with a clever acronym on the spot. S.N.O.T. (Single Neucloid Organic Terror).

I was trying to think how I could do something for this contest, and then in brainstroming came up with a man made entirely of boogers (thinking it'd be hilarious.) The name "Malificent Snot" popped into my head. But I don't know what "malificent' means or even if it's a word, so it became malevolent. I orginally pictured a man sized creature, but it just morphed into my mind until it became smaller, chubbier, and cuter. And when I saw the Julian sitting on the table (we used to torture the cat with it because she hates the "I like to move it, move it " song it used to sing) I thought it'd be a good base for a snot monster.

Using the Jullian base, I added layers of hot glue (used about 8 sticks on the figure) and just went to town, starting low, and working up. The hands are an extra set of DCGLC Low hands painted green, then covered in hot glue. Finally I used a thin was of a light green over the entire figure trying to maintain the translucent quality of the hot glue.
I'm very pleased with how the overall figure came out.

Boogey-Man
The Snot
Evil Sneeze
and The Malevolent B.O.O.G.E.R. (but I couldn't come up with a good acronym to fit this.)
