Inspired by Jin Saotome's Rinzler, I went in and modded the joints for more articulation, seperated the index figure on both hands, put the head on a ball joint, airbrush entire figure with gloss black, hand painted areas with flat black for contrast of suit. Hand painted bright orange details to really make him movie accurate and stand out. Both disks were outlined with white on the outer edges to look like they've been turned "on" as in the movie. Please feel free to comment, even criticism helps!
Thanks so much Fitz. Very true, the sculpt on these are very nice but lacking BIG time in articulation. One note of caution though, be careful how much you carve out on the hips. With this one he has extreme range of motion but his legs are very floppy when held and when posed is very tempermental and prone to fall over. I did another version of this guy and didn't take any off the back side of the hip sockets and this fixed the problem. It does limit the range of motion of the legs more but I think it's a good trade off. Hopefully that will let u learn from my mistake instead of making the same!
