It was a nasty cold and wet night in the city of San Antonio, Texas when it all began. Adri was just getting ready for bed when she heard the crash. Not thinking much of it she continued to put on her lotion just like any other night while listening to the some William Control. Just outside her house and down the street it had started. The crash had left a pit the size of a car in the ground. Glowing green and smelling of death the Taches quickly unfroze and sprung to life. The little red creatures, resembling a foot-long tape worm, darted out of the pit with a hunger for the blood of carbon based life forms.
Adri sat on her bed reading a new book on her e-reader and wished the party down the street would quiet down. The Taches roamed down the street and soon invited themselves to the party. Most of the people at the party didn’t pay much attention when they attacked. Slowly, one by one, they started just falling out, not noticing the Tach that had just attached itself to them and started drinking their life juice.
First the people would fall down by lack of the blood, then they would rise again as the Tach would attach itself into their brains and force them to their feet, making the person a vehicle to drive them to their next victim. Slowly the party had quieted down and Adri became suspicious. She ran outside to see what was going on. The people from the party started walking out in all directions moaning and screaming for “blood” and “brains”. Adri knew the Zombie Apocalypse was upon us so she ran inside and grabbed the biggest knife she could find and her dad’s gun. She was ready to kick some zombie tail!
