Another Naruto custom, since she is one of the secondary/main characters of the show/manga there won't be a backround(waaay to much info, look her up on Wikipedia if you are interested.

Haven't submitted any customs for a while now so here's the first of my new wave, all mostly Naruto figures.

Anyhow, she's actually a pretty old custom, I made her a few months ago and just hadnt submitted her until now. Not a very serious, aweing custom but was geared towards me practicing painting, including doing eyes.

Started off with an "Inki" figure from the "Legend of Sharkman". An ok base, if you need a quick, plain female base they work well(hair pops right off, doesn't leave any marks and her suit is skintight and very plain) and are for sale in the shop for pretty cheap. Not a real big change, all I really did was repaint the base figure, completly. Head to toe is all repainted, including the eyes which I think turned out pretty well. Used Flesh tone for the body and gloss black for the suit. The black rings around the eyes I did with a toothpick and I'm not a big fan of how they came out, too jagged and junky. The camera picks up allot more detail though, they don't look nearly that bad unless you've got the figure right in front of your eyes.

The biggest change here is the hair, all resculpted by me. One good thing I mentioned of the base figure is the hair, it tugs right off leaving a bald skull. It want attached using glue, rather a small peg that goes into the back of the head so you don't get any glue marks, though the a little paint may pull off. Instead of following the hairstyle in the reference picture, I instead used her usual manga/anime hairstyle, personally I think it looks better this way. The hair was then painted with a glossy blue.

Not a difficult custom but I think she tured out pretty well and gave me more practice in painting. The only thing I dislike about the body is the feet. See the way they are angled? Thats one thing that makes her hard to stand upright(luckily she came with a base)

Enjoy

Ja, I agree on that too. I remeber starting out and thinking that the face looked too angry. Like I said in the write up, I pretty much did it to get some practice painting more detailed parts, though I'm happy with how it came out
I can send you a cast of a Cammy Head if you want X

Nah, thannks anyhow Dedi
Youre welcome

But I will say I love the Muscle woman body - it'd be great for a WW fig
Yessssss! Time to add another fig to the to-do list...
The face doesn't really look like the character though, I think it's the pouty lips Try to get a Cammy or Chun Li head, those are perfect for all anime customs (hell, just look at Shins's stuff!)

Most women superheros are done way too skinny on the whole
This is kinda a refreshing change
did you sculpt the face? If so - not bad job man

She pretty much just keeps the same look she had before, that pic was fan art(I think). Only change I made was giving it her usual hairstyle
But ya, after the tourny the anime ran into the filler arcs...which all pretty much sucked. I watched them regardless but without as much enthusiasim. The new story(set 2 years later) is MUCH better. More fighting, cool new characters, old characters have changed and the story is actually going somewhere.

I quit ready Naruto right after the tournament series. I had no idea that Hinata turns out looking like that.
As far as the custom goes she looks a little to musclular for me. This could be just me though, cause like I said I quit readind early in the series.
