Hey everyone!I always liked the old violater 2 figure but hated its articulation,so I chopped him up into a gazillion pieces and got to work.I couldnt find any joints that would fit connecting him in the way I wanted so I re-sculpted almost every point of articulation to fit the pieces I choose, including almost his entire torso, yeesh. He now has 29 points of articulation and can be posed in lots of different ways instead of his original squat only stance.I also added teeth and lots o' spit, well its either spit or he has trouble keeping his green apple kool aid in his mouth, slob,no manners I tell ya!It was a lot of work getting everything to blend right but I think it turned out pretty cool.I used a ton of different marvel legends parts ans misc pieces. And its a little taller than it was previously as well. Thanks for lookin!
thanks guys!very much appreciated, the joints were tough but fun,now that I got the hang of it I am gonna do a bunch of my old spawn figs, especially the plebiac bros(probably not spelled right)basically for the joints you just dremel the fodder arms legs etc down to nothing, snap them in the joint and sculpt around it,on some I had to sculpt the holes after putting in the too small joints and just keep rotating them until the aves cured, making sure the aves didn't bond to the joints, and then you have to say yeesh and take a nap
I just googled what this figure look like originally and I am now amazed at what you have done, It must have taken you a while to do all those joints. It just looks factory made. Excellent job dude!
Sweet...................... is nice to see spawn characters getting some love around customizing, this is the best in my opinion and I titally agree adding articulation to a figure that doesn't have it is hard, but you got it all on in a nice way. I'm working on a spawn and check out my redemer I just finish acouple weeks ago it is in scale for a fight wiht that violater of yours.
