Basically all we have here is a simple wash with a drybrush on his skin and hair to give Blob a more realistic feel. Citadel paints are our heroes.

That looks waaaaaaaaaaaaay better. I always thought the Blob's paintjob was so bland. Well worth it, good show.

I appreciate the kind words. On topic of more wash, I honestly don't think the pictures do this justice. I wanted to put up a comparison pic but 2 blobs wouldn't fit in the lightbox!

It feels like 75% of my customs lately have been repaints, so I definitely consider them to be valid customs, and this is a masterpiece! That skin tone is beautifully applied!
