OK, I KNOW EVERYONE HAS ENCOUNTERED THIS PROBLEM ONCE IN THEIR LIVE, these darn marvel legends capes. Sometimes they look nice, but more of the time they are TOO big, TOO heavy, TOO ugly, who knows.. so what I did was just chopped them off and put my own capes of whatever size and shape I wanted. now my figures can stand up straight with nothing weighing them down and they can finally pose and be on display nicely w/o worrying about them falling. Yeah I love poseable capes instead of dumb plastiky rubbery ones - but they have their uses like cutting up to make gun holsters

I prefer when different materials are incorporated into a custom.
It gives it a much more real-world feel.
Can I make a suggestion tho?
put a length of thin wire around the hem and glue sew it into place
That way you can pose the cloaks
