I present to you...Archer & Armstrong. MAN! These guys were a pain! Armstrong: Sculpted hair and the hat, replaced arms with Sin City Marv's and random hands (don't remember where from.) Most commonly, when I interchange parts, I use cut-down stainless steel ring nails as posts. These have worked well so far. The "skids" (balloon/ pajama style pants, for all you youngins) were sculpted with a piece of cord added. The undershirt has metal wire at the edges to define it. The Marv coat had to be altered. I cut 1/4 inch out of the width and 3/8 inch from the height just below the shoulders and apoxied it back together. Needed to add latex to the paint and it is still fragile because the rubber coat is so flexible. The prop wine bottle is just a quickie I made out of sculpy. Archer is a Torch body legs and head, with Savage Dragon waist and some Avatar figure arms. The head was balded and added to for that giant forehead. I also sculpted laces onto the boots to turn them into Nike hightops. The tunic is Sculpy 3 (after trying it 3 times with super sculpy, it kept breaking) Crossbow is a reg handgun that I added to. I am really happy with the scale difference between these guys. I think they came out pretty well. What do you guys think? Comments? Thanks and Keep on blastin T ![]() |
