Hey all,

A lot of work went into this guy! Took a Mr Terrific head and put it on another DCUC body. Next, I used Aves to fill in certain areas of the arms and legs sculpting a more material or clothed look, as opposed to the skin-tight muscle look. I sculpted his gloves and boots as well. On his shoulders, I cut some gray cloth and glued it down, for the look from the photos of how his suit appears. I also glued various straps and pouches from some other figures to give him the web gear. A Sandman figure I have had a holster that I chopped off and glued to Cap's leg. Luckily it closes with it's clasp still! I then sculpted around that, filling it in and shaping the leg more. Some straps went around that as well. Lastly, I sculpted his head and hair, trying to give him a generic Steve Rogers feel. I think he looks like Garret Hedlund actually--might save that look for a Sam Flynn later-LOL! The shield is from DMC customs, just painted and used rubber bands for straps. The gun is from a Punisher, and fits neatly in the holster when closed.

For paints, I used a flat dark blue, followed by a lighter blue dry-brushed across the top. On the boots and gloves, I mixeda red and brown, painted it, then dry-brushed a little more red and washed it in black. This really gives it a used, reddish-brown leather look. On the white areas, I dry-brushed various grays and greens to givethe appearance of field scuffs from a fight.
