Custom #:2923
Name:Psylocke (X-Men #273)
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Wings
Date Added:June 13, 2007
Base Figure:ML14 Psylocke
Height:5.50 inches
As promised, here's the next in my Blue and Gold team collection - Psylocke! Same recipe as Banshee with the elastic bands and Screw tops for the costume details. I've used god knows how much yellow paint with these as it takes ages to get a clean coat, but these repaints are a nice rest away from some of the other projects I'm working on. Forge and Storm are up next!

I'd intended them to look like the actuall straps and incorporated the join into it. What my camera doesn't show (cos it's "vintage&quot is that I've scorched the other lines and circles onto the bands for the pattern. It shows up much better in person. I might paint them in the furture instead though

you should try to close the gaps a little smoother, But I know what you mean, thats why I sometimes use Sinister cape strips.

Lol - I actually got a ball of coloured rubber bands from a stationers called partners over hre. I find them cleaner and easier than sculpting and they look more uniform this way. Thanks for the comments though guys!

Hey Kyle wrong jake! He's not on this board, I know cause I made the same mistake and emailed him and asked if this was him. He said he'd check out the board though.
Anyway this is a nice custom! not much for rubber bands though, I would have sculpted instead.
Don't take it wrong its not a put down, I think it looks great. Just chalk it up to me being mystified as to where you get all these tiny rubber bands!

That the same jake on here?
Hes done some cool customs here if it is - some sweet Dredd ones I like too inclusing a mean machine nagel that no one else has reall done a custom of - MY TURN
Well its still a sweet sciknife - altho I might be able to make something similar from clear pen tube plastic melted with my heat gun (read chefs blowtorch)
if you ordered that for £4 hmmmm - I might get Deadeye Samurai Armor and Swords made as thats more precise tooling
See how finances go

Cheers guys, glad you like the improvements
Gotta admit Deadeye, the psi blade is one I bought off a website that is cast in opaque resin so it lets light shine through. It was only about £4 too lol. I agree on the fuller lips in most cases but at the time ol Betsy was wearing this outfit she was asian, so the thinner lips seemed a better idea. I may eventually swap the hair out when I get my order thru for hairdos as this is a little too full for her but otherwise I was restty inpressed!

some women look better with thin lips
others just look like effiminate men
I like a full set of pouting lips
And if Psylocke by the GRACE OF GOD - ever sashays onto the big screen - I want that gal who played Typhoid Mary in Elektra to play her
But english accent wise great face and hot bodywise- hmmm - I'd have to go for Sienna Giullroy who played Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 2
she'd make a great betsy braddock/psylocke
As for the custom - personal grumbles about the costume color scheme and design Marvel did of this, aside..
This is awesome work again by Wings
you do some lovely customs and the paintwork is superb n smooth old son
she needs her beautiful butt showing tho
Ooooh I can't help it I'm a guy
LOL
Thats one of the best Psi knives I seen - Kudos my man

Cool! You even managed to make Psylocke's face look good, thinner lips make all the difference.
