Shard was created by Terry Kavanagh and Nelson Ortega in 1993 and first appeared in Web of Spider-Man Annual # 9.
Powers & Abilities
Shard has the ability to produce spikes from his skin that cover his entire body and he can retract them at will. Shard can also fire his spikes from his body for range attacks and they seem to replenish as soon as he fires them. Shard appears to have enhanced strength and durability.
