This is Jim, a Cobra Spec Ops Diver by day, but even the bad guy loves to hang out and have fun with his kids sometimes. He's a fan of Iron Man because of his awesome coolness. He justifies the vacation to Cobra Commander by reminding him he's celebrating an occult pagan holiday.
I started with a 25th anniversary Cobra Diver, took off the packs on his legs, then wrapped all but his head and hands in yellow duct tape. The gauntlets, shoes, torso, and head were all cardboard (cardstock on the non-mask helmet), cut, folded, and covered in duct tape. I used Microsoft Word for the shapes of the gauntlets and shoes. For the belt, I covered a partial rubber band with duct tape and attached duct tape-covered cardboard details.
This fits the armored up competition because he is wearing the pretend pretend (once for action figure and one for Halloween costume) armor of Iron Man.
