Frankenhulk (Original) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:30045
Name:Frankenhulk
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Original
Creator:fastfreddie
Date Added:June 6, 2011
Base Figure:McFarlane Spawn Overtkill
Height:8.00 inches
basic repaint, no airbrushing...just for the record, if I use the airbrush on any of my figures, I will state it. I just don't want to be stereotyped as someone who always uses an airbrush, even though I do love it and plan on using it more and more in the future when I get better at it. Thanks for looking... G2G, Glory to GOD!

Another great piece man, paint work is outstanding.
I also applaud you for painting by hand. There are many great airbrush artist out there, but there is something to be said about an artist who can produce such wonderful colors, tone and depth by hand. Frazetta would be proud!

thanks for the info, I have not heard of the game color and can not find the vallejo paints. I was hoping in the future to purchase a sample set of the Formula P3 paints Jin was talking about along with an assortment from CK Castings, so I will let you know if those paints are any good. I tend to use Model Masters and Citadel mainly, I have been working away from Games Workshops, but like some of the colors, especially for mixing. Your god given ability is great and I am glad we are able to share all our works on the realm. May I ask, do you customize on the road? I could not image doing that, I am lucky to do what I can, if you do your work on the road then that is only more amazing.

that is awesome!I love me some articulation as well but when something looks this good you can just put it on your shelf as is,under glass and with guards protecting it of course! glory to God indeed,I was tryin to figure out somethin to say like that at the end of my submissions(since all and any of our skills are God given) but I could not think of a good one that also gave Him credit, Is it too much of a sin if I steal yours? (I shoulda thought of that!) but hands down great and perfect job on this, incredible paint etc etc

I wouldn't mind a bit if you and anyone else who gives GLORY to GOD wants to put G2G when they submit something on their message. I borrowed it myself. I will be honest with you, this is the first time I have started saying it openly, when submitting customs and the first time I have ever won a contest over here! So, GOD forbid if I glory in myself... I GIVE HIM THE GLORY! I wouldn't even be doing this right now without Him bringing me to it. thank you, brother

RedRebel... thanks brother, I'm not for or against articulation in any way, shape or form. I am a lover of all figures, big, small, statues, moveable, whatever...
I do not discriminate when it comes to superhero stuff.
pulpyfiction... now that would've been a better backstory than what I had thought of!
ol jade jaw... I'm working on it. I really appreciate the support!
countpichula... thanks! it was pretty rad before I even painted it
cosmicfantasycustoms... I primed it solid black(duplicolor fabric and vinyl gloss), then went over with some folk art metallic purple and then green was createx metallic green. I use vallejo model and game color mainly, which work pretty good. Tamiya and Testors harden better but they were hard to get the lids open in my truck sloshing around all the time and turning over.
getsa... I'm glad you like it!

well, I forgot to mention the story of this guy in the description...it went something like this.....
Frankenhulk
A mad scientist, Dr. Bruce Banner, has created the most powerful monster to ever walk the earth... Frankenhulk! Using liquid gamma energy and cybernetics, the mad doctor has turned a humble boy, Rick Jones, into an abomination of science and sorcery!

Here are some more photos

are you serious, this is with a brush? WOW I am completely in awe, you are truly amazing. What type of paints do you use? I love the concept here also but your painting abilities give such a realism to the character. great job.

Really?!? Driving a truck? That was a waste of this insane talent. Getting any commisions? I understand that's where the $ is. Keep it up F.

This is wicked, frankencastle would be in big trouble. Seems like something that the leader would have spliced together out of a bunch of failed hulk clones. The paints are also viciously good!

This goes against my need for articulation but this is Fragg'n Fantastic! These paints are truely astounding! You have honed your skill to a god-like perfection IMHO!
