Some of you may remember my old Giant-Man. I had made him back in 2007 and last year it was being sold online by the owner of it, who said he was downsizing and had a few other Black Goliaths and Giant-Men. I think mine looked pretty good, but after getting it back, I saw that it didn't hold up too good, especially with that gloss sealant I put on it, not knowing any better at the time. I can't remember who recommended that bs from wal-mart in the craft section in a blue and black can(Patricia Nimocks acrylic craft sealer) but that s**t made the arms on this figure really sticky. The rest of the figure was ok, just the arms and they had collected a lot of dust. Well, it was nothing a simple repaint couldn't handle, but after seeing that I figured I might as well do a full relaunch and re-did the boots and the gloves, the belt, the chest and sculpted some afro even! So, enjoy the 2 comparisons, sometimes it's good to be able to go back and get a mulligan every now and then! I also have 2 more 12" versions in the works
THE ORIGINAL 2007 CUSTOM OF GIANT-MAN is the last photo added for comparison

Wow.. Patricia Nimrocks was my first sealant as well when I began customizing..its like spraying clear glossy glue on a figure..it horrible!! I guess we didn't know any better lol
Sorry, I hadn't had a chance to hit you up on your customs. I recently got into a car accident, but no biggie. Fantastic work, and hope you make it big with your customs. I use either krylon crystal clear, or krylon matte finish. Krylon crystal clear is glossy, and sometimes can be too glossy. But 98% of the time I go with krylon matte finish you can find at walmart.
Nice remake of an already great figure! Almost picked up some of that sealant but went with plaid instead. Recently I switched to Krylon because of the UV protection!
