I am a HUGE fan of Ch'p he is one of my all time favorite lanterns. So making him right has been a real trial. And I made a goal to have made 100 lantern figs before the movie. But I won't get them all posted in time my bad any way this is number 16 I have posted on here. I took a DCUC b'dg base popped off the head & tail. Took a Schliegl plastic squirrel, carefully cut off the head & tail. Made a swivel joint to attach the tail. Bored out a hole for the head that would fit the ball joint. Sculpted overalls and bow tie and painted. I think this captures the character perfectly and he has a decent amount of articulation so I am extremely happy with this one. Half way into this project I decided to get away from DCDirect figs and so some of them have been revised to be in DCUC style. And I have tossed the old bodies into a bin to be sold on as fodder.
