not to dis you or anything, but that cardboard surfboard look a bit flimsy in the pics. overtime, it looks like it could easily fall apart. nice and creative,though!

WOW this is a really neat take on the Surfer. I'm pretty sure there is an airbrush paint out there that does color changing from purple to silver, if you ever decide to revisit this figure and have an airbrush that would be a cool effect too. I like to see customizers that break away from the norm and do very original or what they call in here "Random" figures. Well done on both counts, for doing a good job on the figure and for choosing to go with your heart not the mainstream! I think Apple Computer calls that thinking outside the box but don't quote me on that I think they would sue me!
