My first custom figure. It's basically just a repaint of the ML14 Psylocke, since I have an extra one lying around. I used a cutter to scrape some plastic off the elbow and knee joints to avoid them rubbing against adjacent surfaces and causing the paint to chip off (I don't have a Dremel ^^). Finally, I used a toothpick to paint the stars on her bottoms and tiara. For a first repaint/custom, I'm pretty happy with it ^^.
That's amazing, and even more amazing for a first custom, and that goes double for one painted with toothpicks! Grab yourself a dremel and you'll be a force to be reckoned with.
Thats defimitely one of the best WW's I seen in a while man - especially for your first custom I see great things from you coming in the future Kudos loving it - great face (face somehow) looks smaller than my psylocke -great paintjob on the stars for a toothpick ~_@ Dedi
That is great for a first cutom. I remember I aslo had problems with chiping paint for my first custom (Conan) but I followed some of the tutorials in this site and my next figures came out much better, there are some tricks to avoid paint chiping and some painting techniques that can bring more realism and satisfaction to the work it takes to create custom figures. Also you need a dremel to create almost limitless figures, I got one and found the job became much easier than with my first figure. Excellent paint job for a first custom.
