Hey there fellow customizers, today I bring you my fully articulated King Leonidas figure.

I used a WWE Deluxe Aggression body for the base, arms, legs, and hands. The head, feet, shield, spear, sword, sheath, belt, and cape all came from the NECA Leonidas 300 figure. The arm guards, leg guards, and mid section of the figure was made from a leather material and elastic to tie it together on the back of the arm/leg guards to look realistic. I used Testors flat black to paint the leather pieces and drybrushed Citadel Graveyard Earth paint over the black to give it a bronze look. Then I sealded the colors for protection.

I am currently making 3 more fellow Spartan warriors to join Leonidas in the battle and when I am finished, I will post a new pics of all of them in their phalanx battle stance. I'll also eventually give Leonidas a wash to make him look a little dirty and battle damaged but for now I like the way it looks.
