This was a friend's request. He wanted an Asorbing Man like one I had made in June 2009 for my Hulk's Greatest Hits. He didn't care about the articulation so I used the upper body of an exaggerated wwe Stone Cold steve austin figure. It didn't have any atriculation except arm movement. I pulled off the head and used a old Toy Biz Absorbing Man from the 90's Hulk Classics line. sculpted the ball and used some craft chain. The lower legs was a wwe deluxe aggression figure. sculpted the rocky left side and had to extend around the waist to help anchor in the body attachment since the two bodies didn't line up perfectly this was a way to hide that. Chromed out the right arm and just painted the ball to look like metal. I should've chromed it after seeing the photos. The body was primed black and hand detailed and airbrushed for shading. The friend LOVED this figure and has it with an ABOMINATION and HULK he also has from me. I had offered him that other Absorbing Man I had made(with the Brock Lesnar head brick wall) but he wanted this one instead, it was more comic looking. Personally, I like the other one better.
this is another amazing figure, your texture and detail is top notch. you truly have divine given talents and glad you share them with us it is a true inspiration. great job my man.
Awesome texture! Brilliant paint apps! You are a masterful artist. I would love to see you do the giant elemental version from the Trial of the Gods Thor storyline.
Holy crap don't cross that absorbing mans path. This is my favorite absorbing man to date. Great job brp and don't mind the ferret stealing the recipe behind you.
