This whole figure is basically one giant experiment and an excuse to use some extra build-a-figure parts.

Duel Eknham is a two headed psychotic, one head cold and claculating, the other impulsive and chaotic. The only thing they have in common is their love of death and killing. The Cahracter debuted in the GL Corps storyline "Ring Quest", and became a lackey of Mongul. During that story line, Mongul tore him in half and both sides were quickly killed, the left chaotic side had his head blown off by Guy Gardner.

Starting there I began to extrapolate the story....The Cyborg Superman in his early Alpha-Lantern experiments used several recently deceased Sinestro Corps Members, including Duel Eknham. Reconstructing him just enough so that he existed in some state of half life, Duel sat forgotten and abandoned in the lab on Grenda until Krona reintroduced Parralax into the central power battery. The presence of the fear entity recharged the power battery now in Duel's chest to the point that he regained conciouness. The chaotic personality, which had lain dormant in his brother's head, hten reemerged and created a construct replacement head. The now fear empowered creature goes on a rampage killing Grendan's at will and salvaging their parts to complete the repairs to his body. This killing spree earns teh creature a new power ring, and Sinestro now sees an opportunity. Now in possession of manhunter/alpha-lantern technology, Sinestro establishes a new branch of his Corps, the Sinestro Guard. Utterly merciless and without fear, they become the new elite branch of the Sinestro Corps, complelty loyal to Sinestro and ready to spread terror throughout the universe.
