Ghr'll is made from a DCDirect Hal Jordan with a proffesor X head, Thor helmet wings for ear vents anda little putty paint and done. However like all my DC direct versions I had to upgrade to DC Universe classic so my next entry is you guessed it version 2.
I don't know if that's necessarily an upgrade. it depends on the beholder! I, for one, love DC Direct figures much better, but that's because I'm not particular on the articulated matters! regardless, the figure is STELLAR! I love it and now on the "upgraded one"...
I concur that the sculpts are quite nice, but I personally consider the articulation in DC Universe Classics a step up. It doesn't hurt that I am a huge 4 Horseman fan. A lot of the DC Directs where made before I quit posting here and I was trying to save a team of them for a contest that you couldn't post anywhere else before hand and what not but I always missed the deadline due to my own schedule. Now as the DC Universe Classics I am able to make these figs pop even more plus since then I have learned a ton & changed a lot of things in how I do figs. I am still learning and I decided I needed to come back to have you and the rest of the collectors here help me improve more. So please critique me and if you want a preview I am Bob a Ferret on Face book too. I would love help with a few things I have in the works from naming figs to color choices too you name it and my unnamed figs will not be posted here until I have names for them. SO it is always welcome to have help. You can give me more insight there too.
