Kendatha Kr'neh is the first lantern sent to Apokolypse to restore order. Almost succeeding she was caught and mounted as a display in Darksied's trophy room. Like so many of the insect GL she died prematurely with little to tell about her story. She is counted as one of the first GL's. So I was inspired to make this amazing character. Finding the right base was the hardest part but when I walked in to the toy store and saw the halo bug I was on it like white on rice. I had found the base fig. Unfortunately that turned out to be the easy part. Choosing colors and where the symbol s should go as there is only a very few reference shots and none give a full view of the character. I had to take some liberties. But wanting to stay true to the character it was hard. I had to turn to every GL fan I know and get opinions until I came down to this paint job. And I am quite pleased with this one, It may be in my top 10 best.
