So here is my "First Appearance" Captain Britain. This was my first proper custom which I did about a year ago. I had tried customising figures a few years before but used the wrong paints, brushes etc...... it was a mess! Captain Britain is one of my favourite superheroes and out of all his costumes I liked this one the best, especially when drawn by John Buscema. This was one of those figures I knew no toy manufacture would ever make, so this was the only way I get to have it.

Base Figure - ML Moon Knight
Paints - Games Workshop
Games Workshop "Green Stuff" was used to sculpt the hair and fill the void left around his waist when I removed Moon Knights belt. (I didn't mind the "Green Stuff" but am now using "Aves Apoxie Sculpt" which I much prefer).
3 shades of red were used on the body.
2 Shades of gold were used for the Lion on his chest.
The chain of Caps Amulet is solid silver and the Amulet itself is a diamante brought from a craft shop.
Caps Staff harness is a hairband (I wanted the harness to be usable and I didn't have much faith in my ability to paint it on!)
His staff is of course Moon knights.

Really I should have painted his eyes in but that looks pretty tough, maybe I'll have a go at a later date.
