Would you ever be interested in auctiong any of your zelda figures?

Not any of these, sorry. I may be reproducing Toon Link to a very small extent, but that entire decision has to wait until I've actually finished it.

Thanks for the help this is helpful for some of my projects and gives me a new perspective. I am unsure of HLJ what is the name of the store/site? Really can't wait for your new fig and accessories, do you have plans on making a line of different links or legend of zelda characters?

HLJ - Hobby Link Japan.
Once I'm finished with the new one (which I am very far on) I'll be doing either adult link from OoT, or the new design from Skyward Sword. LoZ aside, I'm doing Gex for a friend.

I just had to log in and comment on this. It already looked amazing enough, and then I find out it was made from scratch. This is a work of art and truly superb. I REALLY hope you make an Adult Link to go with it.

this is epicly mindblowing and one of my favorite links. I agree with getsa this would have been awesome in the brat pack contest. Love the sculpting it is some collectable/factory grade quality and love the weapons they are spot on. Paint is also right on with the N64 version, would like to see a few more accessories. I definitely can't wait to see your next custom this one is great, so I can only imagine. Curious about the joints you used, where would you find them? Also about the super sculpey, how did you bake the pieces? I used the stuff for certain things but had a time with it keeping its shape, but I never used wire inside it. Would love some insight into this it would help with few projects I am working on and I have not used the framing and sculpting overtop of wire, only figs. But great fig a true 10 out of 10 and very inspiring, so can't wait for more and thanks for any help.

Thanks! I bought the joints from Hobby Search/Amiami, but you can also find them on HLJ. Look up "ball joints," or "Hobby Base."
I baked the clay at a relatively low temp (around 230°), but cooked them until they were almost black -- this was obviously done to ensure a toughness to the clay. Regardless, they would still crack on occassion, so I would advise against using super sculpey for the sockets, and scrapping those from other figures instead, and just create a socket for those to slide in, then glue them in once you've baked the figure(which is what I'm doing with the new Young Link). There was no wire used in this, simply because that would've created more problems, given the joint setup.
